Graduate Realtors Institute   What is a GRI designation?

The Graduate Realtor Institute designation, conferred by the National Association of Realtors, is presented to Realtors who have successfully completed a rigorous 90-hour program of course work covering legal issues, financing, technology, pricing and evaluating properties, residential construction, home inspection, land use, environmental hazards, real estate investment and taxation issues. Individuals who have earned this designation are considered leaders in the real estate profession.

Because buying and selling property has become increasingly complex, a keen understanding of real estate transactions, law, procedures and sophistication of clients require real estate agents to perform at a higher level of professionalism than ever before.
