St. Croix is 82 square
miles of cosmopolitan paradise located about 1600
miles from the continental United States, in the
middle of the Greater and Lesser Antilles island
chain that makes up the Caribbean. As a result
of being American the island has become a geographical
magnet for people from the Eastern Caribbean (Antigua,
St. Kitts, Nevis, St. Lucia, Barbados, Trinidad,
Dominica, etc…), the Spanish Caribbean (Puerto
Rico and the Dominican Republic), the East (including
India), as well as from Europe (mostly Danish
and French) and the continental United States,
(mostly from the Northeast, Illinois, Texas and
California).
